This is my poster development for the poster that accompanies my short film Pandora's Box. When creating my poster, I focused on horror conventions relating to posters in order to create an effective poster. I kept the colours dark to build an atmosphere and tension and to reflect the style of film. When choosing a font for my title, I kept it the same as the film to show a motif within my work. When looking at horror film posters, the style of the posters were very contrasting. I used this for my film poster as I focused on the black/white contrast. This shows how the poster stands out and captures the audience as the colours seem more vivid. I added poster credits to the bottom of my film poster as I found that almost every film poster features credits. I kept to horror conventions as my poster shows the two main characters and doesn't give away the narrative but indicates the genre.
